DRP MANAGEMENT SDN BHD in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah invites applications for an Account Associate to join our growing bookkeeping and accounting team on a full-time basis. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain client books, and develop expertise in financial record-keeping and client liaison.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant qualification (STPM or Diploma in Accounting), are proficient with Excel and accounting software, and possess strong attention to detail and communication

Qualifications

• A relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualification, such as STPM, Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and basic accounting practices aligned with Malaysian accounting standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Willingness to learn and develop professional accounting competencies
• Reliability and a professional approach to handling confidential financial information
• Preferred experience: Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm environment

Responsabilités

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts for assigned clients
• Recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconciling bank statements and preparing reconciliation reports
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and accounts
• Processing payroll records and maintaining payroll documentation
• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Preparing tax-related documents and supporting compliance filings
• Liaising with clients to gather financial information and clarify accounting queries
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintaining organised filing systems and ensuring proper documentation
