DRP MANAGEMENT SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer to join our Kota Kinabalu team on a full-time basis. You will manage client accounts, perform data entry, reconciling ledgers, and assist with monthly and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

The role involves handling invoices, payments, and financial reporting, while coordinating with clients and internal staff to maintain high standards of service and regulatory compliance in a dynamic accounting practice.

Qualifications

• Secondary education with bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (LCCI, AAT or equivalent)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong numeracy skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload during peak periods
• Familiarity with Malaysian tax and accounting regulations is advantageous

Responsabilités

• Processing and recording financial transactions accurately in accounting systems
• Maintaining and reconciling client bank accounts and general ledgers
• Preparing and verifying invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports for clients
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Performing bank reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
• Supporting the completion of payroll and tax-related documentation
• Liaising with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify account matters
• Maintaining organised and accurate filing systems for all accounting records
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Supporting compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
