Job summary

Kufong Therapy Centre Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is hiring a full-time Account Assistant to support finance operations. You will prepare financial statements, reconcile ledgers, process AP/AR, and handle bank reconciliations and tax returns. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Mandarin proficiency to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team at Kufong Therapy Centre Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a full-time Account Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management.

What you’ll be doing

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash

Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory reports

Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial records

What we’re looking for

Relevant diploma or degree in accounting or a related field

At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications

Good problem-solving and analytical skills
