ACCOLADE IP (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Account Executive to manage daily accounting entries and assist with year-end closings at our Kuala Lumpur office. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and adherence to internal controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with at least 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, including AP, GL, and reconciliations, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• EPF & PERKESO contributions.
• Annual leaves and medical leaves.
• Medical claims.
• Annual appraisal and bonus.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle daily accounting entries, including AP, GL, and reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Verify financial vouchers and vendor bills accurately, ensuring strict adherence to internal approval policies.
• Assist with year-end financial closing processes independently and meet deadlines.
• Communicate proactively with the team leader to provide operational updates and ensure group-level financial compliance.
• Assist in ad-hoc finance-related tasks.
