Job summary

Two One Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Assistant to join the accounting team in Kempas, Johor. This full-time position provides essential support to processing transactions and maintaining records in the finance function.

You will work on AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end tasks while collaborating with the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or related field such as diploma or certificate.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable with meeting deadlines.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Preferably 1-2 years in a similar accounting support role.

Responsibilities

• Process and record financial transactions including invoices, receipts and vouchers.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing.
• File and organise financial documents according to procedures.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
• Respond to routine accounting queries from internal departments.
• Support senior staff with general admin and clerical duties.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy.
