Job summary

H A S ENERGY INDUSTRIAL (M) SDN BHD is seeking an Accounting Assistant to maintain daily, weekly and monthly records and assist with full set of accounts. Based in Balakong, Selangor, you will support the Senior Accounts Executive and ensure timely processing of transactions.

The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting, good English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a collaborative mindset. Fresh graduates are welcome; familiarity with SQL Financial Accounting and MS 365 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Minimum 2 years of related accounting experience preferred
• Familiar with SQL Financial Accounting and Microsoft 365 including MS Outlook, Excel and Word
• Solid knowledge of handling full set of accounts
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports.
• Ensure accurate closing of accounts at the end of each calendar month.
• Perform daily accounting operations including document processing, data entry, invoicing, filing and managing AP & AR.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Assist the Senior Accounts Executive in handling full set of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL.
• Prepare official receipts, payment vouchers and ensure accuracy in payments, amounts and records.
• Liaise with bank officers and government authorities.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
