Job summary

SCC Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd seeks an Accounting Assistant in Malaysia to support accounts payable and receivable, and assist in preparing financial statements while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial data.

The role involves applying accounting policies, compiling routine reports, monitoring daily sales entries, and preparing monthly analyses to aid management decisions. A Diploma in Accounting is preferred, with experience in ERP/Excel helping daily tasks.

• Experience in accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Knowledge of financial statements and reporting standards.
• Ability to apply accounting policies and maintain data confidentiality.

Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant

- Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

- Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports

- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data

- Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards

- Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries

- Daily monitor sales money bank in & email daily sales report & capture in system

- Prepare monthly analysis report
