Job summary

Farmland Bakery (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a junior Finance/Accounts assistant in Kulai, Johor. The role involves day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry into the SAP system, and validating supplier invoices with supporting documents.

The ideal candidate has a minimum diploma in accounting/finance/business and basic Excel knowledge, with attention to detail and strong record-keeping. Ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential, with immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting or SAP will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting operations and functions such as data entry into the SAP accounting system.
• Validate with supporting documents and post supplier invoices.
• Maintain proper filing and accurate accounting records.
• Process and review all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.
• Assist with monthly stock counts and related documentation.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Finance & Accounts Department.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within the required timeline.
• Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines when required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the HOD or immediate supervisor.
