Job summary

FAIZA FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Account Clerk for a full-time, on-site position in Batu Pahat, Johor. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate records, and support the finance team to ensure financial integrity and smooth operations.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting or related field, experience in AP/AR, and strong Excel and accounting software skills.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in financial records.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Willing to learn and take on more responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, receipts and payments.
• Assist in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Assist with payment processing and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Perform basic bank reconciliation and assist in monitoring cash flow.
• Ensure all financial records and transactions are accurately updated in the accounting system.
• Perform data entry and maintain proper accounting records.
• File and organise financial documents in both digital and physical formats.
• Assist in preparing documents and supporting information for audits.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

About the role

FAIZA FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our accounting department. This is a full-time position based in Batu Pahat, Johor. As an Account Clerk, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing essential support to our finance team. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions and maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, receipts and payments.

Assist in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Prepare and issue invoices, receipts and other accounting documents.

Assist with payment processing and follow up on outstanding payments.

Perform basic bank reconciliation and assist in monitoring cash flow.
