Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Full Set Accounting Support: manage full set accounts for projects (AP/AR) and bank reconciliations.
• Data Processing & Entry: input daily financial transactions into the SQL Accounting System.
• Financial Reporting: assist with month-end closing and supporting ledger entries.
• Independent Execution: perform routine accounting tasks with minimal supervision.
• Administrative & Compliance Support: file tax/audit documents and liaise with auditors/tax agents.

About the Role

Nextland Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Account Assistant to join our team in Bukit Tinggi, Klang. You will support the department by handling full-set developer accounts, maintaining system records using SQL Accounting Software, and taking ownership of day-to-day accounting routines with high independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Set Accounting Support: Assist in managing full set accounts for property development projects, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
• Data Processing & Entry: Input daily financial transactions, invoices, and vouchers accurately into the SQL Accounting System.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end closing, preparing schedules, supporting ledger entries, and gathering audit documentation.
• Independent Execution: Take initiative to execute routine accounting tasks independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Administrative & Compliance Support: Maintain organized filing systems for tax, audit, and legal documentation; liaise with external auditors or tax agents as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Industry Experience: Exposure to property developer accounting is a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL Financial Accounting System.
• Key Attributes: Capable of working independently, reliable, detail-oriented, and structured.
