Job summary

MayAir Group is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site service, installation, commissioning, maintenance and support for our air purification equipment. You will work with Project Engineers, Project Managers and customers to ensure work is completed safely and to quality standards.

The role offers travel opportunities, hands-on experience, and exposure to both local and overseas projects as part of a dynamic engineering team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical or related).
• 1–3 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret layout drawings, technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections, technical support and service activities per safety and quality standards.
• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports and related documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, customers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Travel to local and overseas project sites as required.

Job Description

Perform on-site inspections, technical support, and service activities in compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of company equipment and systems.

Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and related documentation.

Coordinate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide updates.

Travel to local and overseas project sites as required.

Perform any other duties assigned by your superior or management from time to time.

What You Will Need

Must Have

Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or a related engineering field).

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic AutoCAD.

Ability to read and interpret layout drawings, technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Willing to travel locally and overseas.

Good to Have

Experience in troubleshooting and field service work.

Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (required to communicate with China counterparts).
