Job summary

Asiamost Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad, seeks a Maintenance Technician (Chargeman A0, A1 & A4) to support facilities systems across a Senai, Johor site. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC and electrical equipment, and ensure safe project execution.

The role requires hands-on experience in electrical works, BAS/BMS/EMS monitoring, and familiarity with pharmaceutical/cleanroom environments. Training and guidance to contractors will be part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience with facilities systems or in manufacturing sectors such as PCBA, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cleanroom industries.
• Chargeman certificate is an advantage.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of electronic development and PCBA production processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
• Plan, assist, and perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for facilities systems (HVAC, biosafety cabinets, pass boxes, LAF, fume hoods).
• Monitor and control BAS/BMS/EMS.
• Follow safety permits, JHA, and HIRARC for projects and maintenance.
• Train and guide in-house technicians and contractors.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
• Plan, assist, and perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for facilities systems, including:
  • HVAC systems (air conditioning, heating, refrigeration units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units).
  • Biosafety cabinets, Pass Boxes (dynamic & static), LAF, Fume Hoods.
  • Cold rooms (chillers & freezers), refrigeration systems, and all air conditioning-related equipment.
  • Fire Fighting Systems, electrical equipment, BMS & EMS systems, and other related facilities equipment.
• Good knowledge of technical work and Hand on experience in troubleshooting and analyzing problems.
• Maintain pharmaceutical documentation related to facilities systems, such as: deviations, CCRs, investigation reports, PM planner, calibration planner, calibration master list, SOPs, monitoring logbooks, checklists for PPM, and other related records.
• Monitor and control BAS (Building Automation System), BMS (Building Management System), and EMS (Environmental Monitoring System).
• Ensure safe execution of projects and maintenance activities by following safety permits, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control), assisting the EHSS team as needed.
• Participate in drills and emergency exercises, including fire drills and emergency response.
• Train and guide in-house technicians and contractors as required..
• Good knowledge of electrical works.
• ManagecalibrationactivitytoallmeasuringandmonitoringequipmentoftheHVACsystem , All Fire Fighting System, All Electrical Equipment,All BMS & EMS Systemandetc).
• Response to Energy Commission (ST) authority when required.
• Follow up on electrical equipment/system calibration and coordinate with contractors.
• Monitor and manage reports, electrical rooms, and plant room activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain all electrical panels and plant room equipment.
• Assist 33kV Chargeman and 33kV Visiting Chargeman on-site, following up closely on findings and reports.

What We’re Looking For:
