Job summary

JLL in Johor Bahru is seeking a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Shift Engineer to monitor and manage critical facility systems, including power, cooling, and fire suppression, ensuring uptime and fast incident resolution. You will perform alarm analysis, manage incidents, document changes, and participate in change management with cross-functional teams.

This role requires 24/7 shift coverage and on-site presence at Johor Bahru.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience in a NOC or data centre environment preferred, typically 3+ years.
• Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and ITIL practices.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage critical facility systems (power, cooling, fire suppression).
• Ensure uptime and availability of facility-related services.
• Perform alarm analysis and propose reductions.
• Handle network incidents, document incidents, escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and SOPs.
• Participate in change management with minimal service disruption.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders on incidents and resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and handover between shifts.
