General Motors (GM) is seeking a Zone Manufacturing Engineer to be the technical owner for an assigned production zone. You will lead the design, installation, and launch of manufacturing processes and tooling for new programs, model changes, and current production with high autonomy.

Responsibilities include owning program launches, managing tooling and automation projects, and optimizing material flow, while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and readiness for launches.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, installation, and launch of manufacturing processes and tooling for new programs, model changes and current production.
• Own program launches and production changes including tooling layouts, material flow, conveyance, and automation.
• Manage tooling, equipment, and technology projects from concept through design, build, validation, and launch with supplier oversight.
• Analyze and optimize material flow and contribute to future-state process improvements.
• Drive launch readiness and issue resolution through plant build events and integration forums.
• Ensure process compliance and quality with PFMEAs, PPI, and system deliverables.
