General Motors seeks a Launch Operations Engineer to support the introduction of new products, processes, and equipment in a fully on-site role in Silao, Mexico. The position emphasizes equipment validation, start-up activities, and cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure a successful production launch.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with equipment validation and manufacturing process implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Support the launch of new products, processes and equipment.
• Coordinate and track activities related to PPAP.
• Validate, commission and release new equipment and processes.
• Support pilot builds, trials and start-up activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, safety and production requirements.
