General Motors de Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Launch Engineer in Silao, MX, to lead equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and readiness for new production programs. You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Controls, Automation, and IT to ensure program timing and reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field and at least 1 year in manufacturing, with strong PLC knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 1 year in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting manufacturing launches or equipment start-up preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support installation, commissioning, validation, and launch of new equipment and systems.
• Participate in launch activities for new lines and processes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control issues during start-up.
• Support equipment acceptance, validation testing, and readiness reviews.
• Program, monitor, troubleshoot, and modify PLC-controlled systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integration and stability.
