Job summary

Infosys Ltd. is seeking a Windows Administrator to install, configure and manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Exchange Online. The role emphasizes automation via PowerShell and collaboration with development teams to support in-house and third-party applications.

Mandatory Microsoft certifications are highly desirable. The candidate will maintain disaster recovery, patching, and incident management while improving operational reliability across global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Unix and Windows Server architecture.
• Proficiency with Windows/Unix/Linux-based operating systems and CM tools.
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.

Responsibilities

• Install, Configure and maintain Windows Servers (e.g. Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
• Monitor system performance, availability security, ensuring optimal system operation.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and other essential Windows services.
• Manage Exchange 2016/2019 server and Office 365 Exchange online environments.
• Perform regular system updates, patches and backups.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain applications.
• Manage incidents and communicate with users and stakeholders.
• Improve infrastructure stability by identifying recurring issues.
• Automate failures and health restoration using engineering tools.
• Identify alerts that can be automated and work with Engineering to automate them.
• Challenge existing infrastructure for stability improvements.
• Participate in Change management to reduce production risk.
• Build and improve run books to minimize operational errors.
