GPV in Jalisco, Mexico seeks an IT System Administrator to maintain VM-ware environments, Cisco networks, Windows Server, Exchange handling, and Citrix. The role includes setting up test equipment and debugging HW/SW, while applying OS patches and managing IT controls.

Responsibilities also cover backups, antivirus, monitoring, and user account management, with emphasis on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 compliance. Requires a relevant Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related fields; 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of PC, Server, Network installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware, Cisco, Windows Server, Terminal Services and Citrix.
• Ability to provide technical support to end users and solve problems quickly.
• Strong service mindset and understanding of customer requirements.
• Loyal, flexible, team-oriented and able to handle confidential information.

• Provide technical support to end users and resolve issues.
• Install, configure, and administer servers and network equipment.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades; manage patches and admin tools.

• Core competences: VM-ware, Cisco, Windows Server, Terminal Services, Citrix.
• Handle Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010
• Be a part of setting up new test equipment. HW & SW debugging on test equipment.
• Training newUser Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
• Handle backup, restore, Antivirus, Monitoring, adaption of IT-controls.
• Create, change, and delete user accounts.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software and Network failures.
• Always strictly complied with Company’s management systems and regulations.
