ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations leader to coordinate the physical and system receiving, storage according to FIFO/FEFO, and timely material supply to production lines in an industrial environment.

You will supervise unionized personnel, ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and safety rules, manage attendance and shifts, and foster continuous improvement using KPIs, 5S, and cycle counts.

Formación

  • Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse operations within an industrial environment.
  • Experience supervising unionized workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, production line material supply, and shipping processes.
  • ERP/WMS systems experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate physical and system receiving of materials, verify quantities and condition.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials according to layout and FIFO/FEFO.
  • Coordinate timely supply of materials to production lines to prevent line stoppages.
  • Supervise shipment of finished goods with focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Verify proper use of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Maintain communication between warehouse personnel, supervision and support areas.

Warehouse Operations

  • Coordinate the physical and system receiving of materials, verifying quantities, condition, and compliance with purchase orders and established standards.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials according to layout, FIFO/FEFO methodology, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate the timely supply of materials to production lines , ensuring operational continuity and preventing line stoppages due to material shortages.
  • Supervise the shipment of finished goods , ensuring accuracy in quantities, on-time deliveries, and proper loading conditions.
  • Verify the correct use of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, racking systems, etc.).

Unionized Personnel Coordination

  • Assign and balance workloads for unionized personnel by shift and work area.
  • Ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement , internal policies, and safety regulations.
  • Follow up on personnel incidents including attendance, overtime, shift changes, and operational performance.
  • Maintain effective communication between warehouse personnel, supervision, and support areas (Production, Traffic, Quality).
  • Support onboarding and operational training for warehouse personnel.

Control and Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, on-time material delivery, productivity, and safety.
  • Support the execution of physical and cycle inventory counts.
  • Identify operational deviations and propose corrective and continuous improvement actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, order, and cleanliness standards (5S) within the warehouse.
Authority
  • Stop operations in the event of unsafe conditions.
  • Redistribute resources and personnel to ensure operational continuity.
  • Report labor and operational issues to immediate management.

Education

  • Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse operations within an industrial environment.
  • Proven experience supervising unionized workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, production line material supply, and shipping processes.

Technical Skills

  • Warehouse and internal logistics processes.
  • Inventory control systems.
  • ERP/WMS systems (preferred).
  • Basic industrial safety standards.
