Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Mexico City seeks a senior finance leader for Payments. You will own the month-end close, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with product, P&A and business managers to translate activities into strong financial results.

The role requires 10+ years in finance, ownership mindset, and excellent communication in English. You will drive controls, pursue automation, and lead a dispersed team to support Payments goals and cross-location collaboration.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification on Accounting or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of financial experience
• Able to take ownership and act as leader. Management skills is required.
• Excellent communication and English skills together

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integrity of the payments financial statements and month/quarter end close.
• Collaborate with Product, P&A and Business Managers to understand products and translate activity into financial results.
• Drive control developments, identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
• Participate in projects impacting the business to ensure proper implementation from controllership and MIS perspectives.
• Foster strong cross-location finance partnerships and share best practices regionally and globally.
• Influence the team to align with Payments goals and develop talent with career paths and succession plans.
• Lead a multi-location team, communicating clearly to seniors and stakeholders, maintaining a safe work environment.
