Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Global Financial Crimes Compliance Payments Latin America & Canada Manager to oversee financial crimes risk for the Payments business across LATAM and Canada.

You will provide independent oversight, challenge, and escalation, partnering with regional and global teams to manage onboarding, diligence, and significant risk matters. You will lead due diligence reviews for high-risk customers, coordinate with Sales and control functions, and contribute to governance forums

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial crimes compliance or a related control function.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide Global Financial Crimes Compliance coverage for the Payments business across Latin America and Canada, supporting identification, escalation, and mitigation of material financial crimes risks.
• Lead Specialized Due Diligence reviews for complex and higher-risk customers, including Foreign Correspondent Banks, Non-Bank Payments Service Providers, Virtual or Digital Assets Service Providers, Regulated Gaming Operators, and other elevated-risk customer types.
• Engage with Sales teams and stakeholders during onboarding and reviews to understand activities, assess controls, and identify material risks and gaps.
