Clariant is seeking a Payroll Lead to manage end-to-end US payroll for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accurate, timely payments and strict regulatory compliance. You will drive automation, system optimization, and process improvements while maintaining strong documentation and SOPs.

The role requires experience in full US payroll cycles, SSC environments, and advanced English skills, with a focus on accuracy, audits, and month-/year-end closings. Collaboration with HR and finance is essential.

Formación

• College degree or bachelor’s in business administration, HR, finance, or related area.
• Minimum 3 years experience in personnel administration and Senior HR/payroll experience.
• Experience with full US payroll cycle (Canada a plus).
• Knowledge of US state payroll laws and W-2 processing.
• Experience in SSC (Shared Services Center) environment and SAP payroll.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end US payroll processing for all employees and multi-state compliance.
• Review payroll calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Process off-cycle payrolls, bonuses, commissions, and special payments.
• Ensure compliance with wage-hour laws and payroll tax regulations.
• Implement system updates and automate processes.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and support month-end/year-end closes.
• Handle employee inquiries via ticketing system within SLAs.
