Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Materials & Supplier Planning Leader for Querétaro 2 to optimize upstream supplier flows and forecast accuracy. The role focuses on replenishment policies, lead times, stock management, and logistics terms to improve overall supply chain performance.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to implement Lean tools, drive containment and corrective actions, and ensure adherence to supplier management rules across the plant.

Qualifications

• Industrial degree or related required.
• 3–5 years of planning experience.
• Advanced English level required.
• Experience with MRP, Kanban, and ROP.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control and order management.
• SAP MM module expertise is required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Technical/problem-solving abilities.
• Solid background in materials management/methodology.
• Excellent problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize upstream flows with suppliers to improve supplier supply chain performance.
• Set and release suppliers forecast and manage logistic terms and conditions.
• Ensure the update and accuracy of key material planning parameters (lead times, quantities, frequencies, stocking policy).
• Include logistic solutions, batch size, lead time, packaging and ABC/FMR analysis.
• Be responsible for supplier forecast accuracy and its improvement.
• Monitor upstream supply chain performance and address issues using 8D methodology.
