The role requires fluent English, strong leadership and data skills using SAP and Power BI to drive performance, reports and improvement initiatives.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and work permits for Mexico; the position is full-time, on-site, with growth opportunities within operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Is responsible for achieving departmental/area goals and objectives. Supervises production, maintenance and/or parts distribution warehouse employees in operations or processes requiring semi-skilled to unskilled employees to ensure that the goals of the department and organization are achieved. The supervisor is the first-line liaison between the production employees and the management staff and thus also serves the function of representing the company's interests with the shop floor staff

• Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.
• Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines.
• Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
• Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections.
• Operate complex equipment and machines, adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity. Also responsible for generating solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies.
• Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
• Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
