John Deere in Monterrey is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide executive support, coordinate calendars, travel, and events, and help drive business efficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and Power Platform.

You will partner with leadership to ensure timely decisions, maintain confidential information, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, global team environment. Fluency in English and Spanish is valued.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative and operational support to management. Acts as a central coordinator of priorities, information, and follow-through, ensuring effective execution tasks.
  • Utilizes strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to manage calendars, coordinate meetings and events, capture and synthesize key discussions, document decisions, and drive follow-up on action items. Leverages digital tools, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and collaboration platforms, to streamline processes, improve visibility, and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Exercises sound judgment, discretion, and business acumen in handling confidential and sensitive information. Proactively anticipates needs, identifies opportunities to improve workflows, and serves as a trusted partner to leadership by ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely completion of commitments across functions and organizational levels.
  • May lead administrative improvement initiatives, develop dashboards and tracking tools, support reporting needs, coordinate executive communications, maintain knowledge repositories, and contribute to process optimization efforts. Advanced multilingual communication skills and the ability to operate effectively across global and cross-functional teams are required
    • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
    • Strong ability to capture, synthesize, and communicate key information, decisions, and action items.
    • Proven experience managing executive calendars, meetings, travel, and business events.
    • Excellent follow-up and coordination skills, ensuring commitments and deadlines are met.
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level correspondence and presentation support.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint).
    • Experience leveraging Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
    • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
    • Proactive mindset, continuous improvement orientation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education
