Sandoz is seeking a Travel & Expenses / Accounts Payable Specialist in Mexico City to support invoices, records, reconciliations, and process improvements within a global, matrix organization.

The role requires 2–4 years in T&E/AP, strong accounting knowledge, and fluency in Spanish with intermediate English and Portuguese. It offers a structured, process-driven environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in Travel & Expense, Accounts Payable, Shared Services or Finance.
  • 2–4 years of T&E end-to-end process, Accounts Payable (mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Spanish, English, Portuguese (intermediate written and spoken).
  • Experience with MS Suite, Excel Advanced, SAP, NAVAN, AppZen, Citi Manager and CONCUR.

Travel & Expenses / Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing, reviewing, and recording invoices and costs efficiently

  • Maintaining and updating financial records

  • Performing account reconciliations downpayments and AP account (aging) and develop root-cause analysis

  • Support a strong control environment, follows-up on audit issues and supports implementing correcting measures.

  • Develop root-cause analysis to improve the level of service, quality and effectiveness of the operation in close collaboration with line manager and peers. This position is measured by T&E KPIs (FRA Compliance % expense reports, end to end and approval cycle time avg days).

  • Support system transition and is responsible for knowledge transfer and knowledge retention within T&E/AP scope. Coordinate the global strategy within the team and drive GPO conversation and strategy.

  • Participate and assist in driving the knowledge management process including the development of user manuals, knowledge bases, trainings, FAQs, etc.

  • Perform monthly accruals at month-end closing

  • Follow up on CTA & Pcard reconciliation


Qualifications:


  • A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance.

  • 2-4 years’ experience in Travel & Expense, Accounts Payable, Shared Services or Finance.

  • 2-4 years of T&E end to end process, Accounts Payable (mandatory).

  • Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Spanish, English, Portugues (intermediate written and spoken).

  • Experience in MS suite, excel advance, SAP, NAVAN, Appzen, Citi Manager and CONCUR environment (mandatory requirements).

  • In-depth knowledge of T&E/AP processes and system solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization.

  • Proactive, detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable, customer service orientation, professional attitude, reliable.
