Job summary

Sandoz is seeking a Regulatory Affairs professional in Mexico City to support marketing authorizations, variations, renewals, and global submissions. You will work with local authorities and international teams to ensure compliance and timely delivery of regulatory milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology (QFB) and at least one year of relevant industry experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology (QFB) or related field.
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Regulatory Affairs.
  • Experience managing marketing authorizations, variations, renewals, and regulatory submissions to COFEPRIS.

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Affairs knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry: manage marketing authorizations, variations, renewals, and regulatory submissions to COFEPRIS.
  • Regulatory and compliance expertise: understand Mexican pharmaceutical regulations and health authority requirements.
  • Technical and scientific assessment: review and interpret technical, scientific, and administrative documentation for regulatory submissions.
  • Marketing authorization lifecycle management: coordinate regulatory activities ensuring timelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving: assess deficiencies, authority requests, and define corrective actions.
  • Attention to detail and compliance focus: commit to document quality and regulatory compliance to minimize observations.
  • English communication skills: review global documentation and collaborate with international stakeholders.
  • Prioritization and sense of urgency: manage multiple regulatory activities while ensuring business continuity.

Major accountabilities:

Key performance indicators:
  • Project & stakeholder feedback -Product license update in terms of CMC in agreed timeline -Adherence to Sandoz policy and guidelines
  • Application forms, labeling and other documents prepared in accordance with regulations and working procedure within established timelines.
  • Submissions without critical observations due to deficiencies on the internal review.
  • Administrative tasks completed on time according to local and global procedures
  • Databases updated on time and with the appropriate quality
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology (QFB) or a related field.
  • Required Experience: Minimum of one year of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Regulatory Affairs.
