Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking Transportation Area Managers to oversee yard operations across 13 FCs, 3 SCs, and 1 IXD in Mexico, ensuring safety, efficient trailer movement, and strong performance.

You will lead a team, manage yard capacity, drive process improvements, and partner with site leadership to meet operational goals while maintaining compliance with WHS and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team focused on yard operations, aligning Fulfillment Center operation with transportation execution.
• Plan and manage yard capacity and trailer pool for designated site.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
• Drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment for Amazon and non‑Amazon workers.
• Audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental regulations.
• Meet and exceed operational goals.
• Own area performance metrics and communicate them to TOM and site leadership
