Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Manager - Operations Transportation Management to own the P&L for the team, design and implement standard work processes, and ensure an accurate and efficient transportation solution for each account.

The role involves regular client interaction to drive costs down, report on performance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver value and improvements across accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience within transportation/logistics/supply chain.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience (for Office employees).
• 4+ years of experience on technology and automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify issues and communicate improvements for cost, service, and profitability.
• Develop and distribute customer reports and internal performance management reports.
• Deliver cost savings/cost containment to customers and/or Uber Freight.
• Drive project lists to ensure initiatives are delivered on time.
• Creation, development, and presentation of Business Reviews.
• Engage employees as business partners on career development and training opportunities.
• Understand and apply all aspects of customer contracts.
• Work with the strategic account management group to grow Uber Freight's business with the customer.
