Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Transportation Manager for the Matamoros, Tamaulipas plant to lead inbound and outbound transportation operations across domestic and international modes, ensuring timely and cost‑effective movement of materials and finished goods.

You will develop KPI dashboards, drive continuous improvement, manage carrier performance and freight cost, and lead a cross‑functional team with Planning, Customer Service, Shipping, and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years in transportation, logistics, or related roles.
• Experience with TMS, ERP, or comparable transportation systems.
• Experience managing carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs.
• Knowledge of cross-border shipping, routing, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound and outbound transportation operations across domestic and international modes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and cost controls for transportation.
• Lead carrier, freight forwarder, and 3PL performance reviews and escalations.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop transportation team members.
• Collaborate with Planning, Customer Service, Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Trade Compliance, Procurement, Finance, and external providers to resolve constraints.
