Overview

Talent Acquisition Advisor at Valmont Industries

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments in operational, technical, and administrative areas. (TNA) (DNC)
• Create support materials such as manuals, presentations, and evaluations.
• Coordinate external training sessions with vendors and consultants.
• Use measurement tools to assess training effectiveness and update KPI´s
• Manage the training budget.
• Update trainings on LMS Valmont System.
• Schedule and execute onboarding program for Union and Admin Employees
• This position is going to lead the internal welding school for Apodaca and Escobedo plants
• Update and post skill matrix on shop floor
• Responsible of Training the trainers program

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelors in relevant field 5+ years of experience.
• Must have a professional and fluent English communication.
• Preferred experience with Training programs for manufacturing plants.
• Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with other teams to solve business needs.
• Ability to leverage technology to update all training KPI´s efficiently.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.
• Strong communication skills and a comfort level presenting to groups required.
• Demonstrated ability to build a simple plan and then execute it well within a complex environment.
• Self-motivated and able to successfully deliver on all deadlines and flawlessly execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a group.
• Time management and prioritization.
• Experience on Train the trainers programs preferent.
