Danfoss GmbH in Reynosa, MX is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to drive compliant and efficient global trade operations by ensuring accurate classifications. You will work with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and brokers to uphold HTS, Schedule B, ECCN standards and reduce regulatory risk.

Your role focuses on delivering defensible classifications, supporting customs compliance, and contributing to right-sized duty savings and operational efficiency within a global context.

Formación

• Experience in tariff classification, customs compliance, international trade regulations, or a related Trade Compliance function.
• Strong understanding of HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, and other international product classification frameworks.
• Ability to interpret technical product information and apply classification methodologies in a compliant and business-focused manner.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global business environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with professional proficiency in English.

• Lead tariff and export control classification activities by assigning and maintaining HTS, Schedule B, NICO, and ECCN classifications in alignment with global standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to ensure accurate and defensible product classification decisions.
• Support customs compliance activities by serving as a key contact for brokers and providing guidance on classification-related matters.
• Investigate, resolve, and document classification discrepancies with suppliers, customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously improve classification processes, data quality, and compliance practices to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory readiness.

What You’ll Be Doing
