Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management, is seeking a qualified Import-Export/Customs Compliance professional in Monterrey to execute daily operations and ensure accurate documentation.

You will coordinate with customs agents, validate documents, manage the Annex 24 system, and contribute to supply chain efficiency while upholding quality and compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• English proficiency 80%.
• Proactive and able to multitask.
• Sense of urgency.

Responsabilidades

• Control arrival of materials at the warehouse under the Customs Agent abroad.
• Validate commercial documents.
• Reconcile arrived components vs documents.
• Prepare customs documents.
• Provide technical information for tariff classification of goods and/or request special import permits.
• Act as the point of contact between the Customs Agent and the service plant.
• Follow up the customs clearance process from loading to arrival.
• Validate import and export declarations and upload into the Annex 24 system.
• Manage the customs system (Annex 24).
• KPIs with Customs Agents.
• Review of Expense Accounts.

What you will do:

Execute daily Import and Export operations for the assigned plant with a focus on Customs Compliance

How you will do it:

• Control the arrival of materials to the warehouse of the Customs Agent abroad

• Validation of commercial documents

• Reconciliation of arrived components vs. documents

• Preparation of customs documents

• Provide technical information obtained from other departments for the correct tariff classification of goods and/or request special import permits

• Point of contact between the Customs Agent and the service plant

• Follow-up of the customs clearance process, from loading, crossing, and arrival

• Validation of import and export declarations, as well as their reconciliation and upload into the Annex 24 system

• Management of the customs system (Annex 24)

• KPIs with Customs Agents

• Review of Expense Accounts
