Johnson Controls is seeking a detailed Customs Coordinator to execute daily import and export operations for the assigned plant with an emphasis on compliance. You will validate documents, prepare customs paperwork, and manage the Annex 24 system while coordinating with the customs agent and internal departments to ensure timely clearance.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of experience, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency; SAP and VUCEM knowledge are preferred.

Execute daily Import and Export operations for the assigned plant with a focus on Customs Compliance
Control the arrival of materials to the warehouse of the Customs Agent abroad
Validation of commercial documents
Reconciliation of arrived components vs. documents
Preparation of customs documents
Provide technical information obtained from other departments for the correct tariff classification of goods and/or request special import permits
Point of contact between the Customs Agent and the service plant
Follow-up of the customs clearance process, from loading, crossing, and arrival
Validation of import and export declarations, as well as their reconciliation and upload into the Annex 24 system
Management of the customs system (Annex 24)
