Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Scheduler in Durango, Mexico to ensure timely replenishment of purchased items and on-time deliveries aligned with the production plan.

Responsibilities include analyzing MRP demand, expediting POs, monitoring supplier performance, and providing forecasts to vendors to minimize stock-outs and optimize inventory levels.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ year in purchasing role.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Leadership and teamwork.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience in manufacturing planning capacity.
• Ability to read MRP, stock status, variance and shortage reports.
• Knowledge in running queries on SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor vendor performance and implement feedback for improvement.
• Communicate issues related to delivery, pricing and invoicing to vendors.

• Update purchasing parameters to ensure material availability and stock levels.
• Implement material-related projects and continuous improvements.
• Resolve discrepancy problems in a timely manner.
• Comply with activities in JCI Safety Commitment Letter.
• Participate in Safety Subcommittees and Safety Audits as required.

What will you do?

The Supplier Scheduler is assigned to a series of items. Is responsible for assuring that the requirements for these purchased items are filled in a proper time and that the material will meet the delivery date to minimize the risk of an inventory stock-out by reviewing the Follow Up on a timely manner. Is also responsible to update purchasing parameters to ensure parts are ordered on time according to the replenishment method, also to maintain minimal amounts of inventory to meet planned inventory levels according to the company DOH target.

How will you do it?

• Analyze MRP demand and replenish stocks timely.
• Place purchase orders and expedite delivery of materials to assure receipt in accordance with production program requirements.
• Review open requirements through the Follow Up or Open Order Report and expediting or defer when necessary.
• Monitor vendor performance through the OTD and assure proper feedback and corrective actions are in place to improve vendor development.
• Assure that problems relating to delivery, pricing and invoicing are promptly conveyed to the vendor and resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures to avoid material shortages.
• Provide forecasts to the specified vendors according to schedule.
• Update purchasing parameters to ensure material availability and optimum stock levels.
• Implement Material related Projects.
• Resolve discrepancy problems in a timely manner.
• Comply with activities specified in JCI Safety Commitment Letter.
• Participate in Safety Subcommittees and Safety Audits as required.
