Johnson Controls is seeking a Customs Compliance specialist in Monterrey to manage daily import/export operations with a focus on regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with the Customs Agent, validate documents, and ensure accurate reconciliation of shipments and tariff classifications.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Execute daily Import and Export operations for the assigned plant with a focus on Customs Compliance.
• Control the arrival of materials to the warehouse of the Customs Agent abroad.
• Validation of commercial documents and reconciliation of arrived components with documents.
• Preparation of customs documents and tariff classification information.
• Point of contact between the Customs Agent and the service plant.
• Follow-up of the customs clearance process from loading to arrival and upload into Annex 24.
• Management of the customs system (Annex 24) and KPIs with Customs Agents.
• Review of expense accounts.

What you will do:

Execute daily Import and Export operations for the assigned plant with a focus on Customs Compliance

How you will do it:

• Control the arrival of materials to the warehouse of the Customs Agent abroad
• Validation of commercial documents
• Reconciliation of arrived components vs. documents
• Preparation of customs documents
• Provide technical information obtained from other departments for the correct tariff classification of goods and/or request special import permits
• Point of contact between the Customs Agent and the service plant
• Follow-up of the customs clearance process, from loading, crossing, and arrival
• Validation of import and export declarations, as well as their reconciliation and upload into the Annex 24 system
• Management of the customs system (Annex 24)
• KPIs with Customs Agents
• Review of Expense Accounts
