Job summary

UPS Marken, la división de UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, busca un coordinador logístico para supervisar el rastreo de envíos, definir rutas y gestionar hitos en Maestro.

Trabajarás con equipos locales y global Marken para garantizar tiempos de entrega, manejar cambios de ruta y coordinar la comunicación entre departamentos, asegurando el cumplimiento de estándares y procedimientos internos.

Qualifications

• Dominio de Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Conocimiento de redes de aviación y/o aerolíneas.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e influencia.
• Capacidad para resolver problemas y priorizar tareas.
• Flexibilidad de horarios, incluyendo fines de semana.

Responsibilities

• Rastrear todos los envíos y actualizar hitos en Maestro.
• Gestionar el acondicionamiento de envíos (por ejemplo, reempaque, etiquetado).
• Definir la mejor ruta de despacho considerando costo, experiencia de aerolínea y tiempos de llegada.
• Mantener a Dispatch informado y coordinar con departamentos relevantes.

Job Purpose

To track every consignment to destination under the most expedite and efficient routing to ensure compliance with client requirements and Marken Quality Standards.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure all shipments are tracked and milestones are updated in Maestro.
• Ensure conditioning process of the shipment as required and update the proper milestone in Maestro. This conditioning process may include: Dry Ice Replenishment, Re-packaging and / or Labeling
• Define the best possible route to dispatch the shipment to its final destination taking in consideration:
• Direct Flight using OAG to find out flight availability.
• Cheapest Option
• Most Experienced Airline
• Arrival times to comply with scheduled delivery requirements.
• Obtain a pre-booked MAWB and consign to the receiving agent or MARKEN office.
• Inform Dispatch that a shipment is ready to be tendered to the Airline as per the respective COT.
• Enter the applicable routing legs into Maestro
• Send the Domestic Alert through Maestro and confirm reception
• Use the appropriate reporting tools to monitor compliance of milestones in Maestro.
• Liaise with all relevant departments within the Global and Domestic Marken network to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
• Collaborate with all Marken offices and Local Service Providers to ensure the logistics transfer is handled efficiently thus meeting the desired turnaround times.
• Analysis of repetitive operational problems and development of possible service solutions.

Requirements

• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Thorough understanding of Aviation/Airline networks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others
• Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills essential
• Flexibility in working hours required which may include weekend coverage
