Job summary

Flextronics is seeking a Test Engineer in Aguascalientes to support testing and troubleshooting of systems, software, and equipment. You will direct engineering activities, develop test methods, and coordinate 3rd party test development while ensuring data integrity and reporting.

The role requires mechanical/electromechanical background, knowledge of SQL or scripting, and strong collaboration across departments. On-site position with competitive salary and benefits in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and other programming/scripting languages is a plus.
• English Conversational communication skills.
• Develops instrument drivers.
• Leadership for managing work teams and effective cross-department communication.
• Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates engineering personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment.
• Directs and coordinates activities for development, procurement, installation, calibration of instruments and control devices for testing.
• Interprets test data and prepares technical reports for engineering and management.
• Develops software/hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems.
• Trains floor staff on test hardware/software and problem solving techniques.
• Resolve test yield problems by evaluating root causes and coordinating corrective actions.
• Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
