Job summary
Flex is seeking a Sr Test Engineer in Guadalajara, Mexico, to lead testing initiatives for hardware and software. You will develop test programs in Python, build instrument drivers, and design test hardware and interfaces to ensure robust product validation.
The role requires experience in NPIs, capacity analysis, and diagnostic testing, with advanced English and availability for on-site work at our North Campus in Guadalajara.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
- Solid experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Strong experience as a Test Engineer.
- Advanced English is mandatory.
- Solid experience in capacity analysis and corrective/preventive maintenance.
- Experience managing test KPIs.
- Schedule availability and flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates electronic engineering and testing of hardware and software.
- Develops and modifies test programs using Python; develops instrument drivers.
- Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
- Develops test plans and procedures; coordinates third-party test development and fixtures.
- Analyzes software or system-level diagnostics and interprets failures.
