Job summary

Lear Corporation in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico seeks a Foreign Trade expert to execute our international treaties strategy. Your primary mission will be to ensure regulatory compliance for operations across Mexico, the USA, Honduras and Canada, optimizing duty payments and leveraging current trade agreements.

You will lead and develop teams, monitor changes in customs regulation, and coordinate with global suppliers to minimize duties while maintaining compliance with USCMA, TLCUE and related accords.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years in customs management or international trade.
• Experience in automotive sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full adherence to international commercial treaties and trade agreements.
• Monitor changes in customs legislation and assess the business impact on financial and logistical operations.
• Maximize the use of preferential trade agreements to reduce duties through analysis of Rules of Origin for components and products.
• Respond to customer audits and trade validation requirements in a timely manner.
