Job summary

Lear Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Customs Analyst (Commercial Treaties) to stay current with FTAs and related regulations. You will coordinate certificates of origin, communicate with internal teams and suppliers, and ensure timely responses to FTA documentation requests.

The role involves handling multiple FTAs including USMCA and CPTPP, with a focus on compliance and accurate documentation. Fluency in English preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in a related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Experience interpreting trade regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze bill of materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze rules of origin for different FTAs.
• Perform qualification process for finished goods under FTAs.
• Plan and request certificates of origin from suppliers.
• Audit origin documentation received from suppliers.
• Update electronic files supporting origin qualifications.
• Update Excel reports and monthly KPIs.
• Respond to customer requirements related to FTAs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards.
