Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to lead client engagements from discovery to delivery. You will translate business needs into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with developers, QA, and architects while participating in Agile ceremonies as the client representative.

Expect up to 25–35% travel to client sites. Proficiency with Jira/Confluence and SQL, plus UAT coordination and test-case development, are essential for success.

Formación

5+ years in a Business Analyst, Technical BA, or Product Analyst role in SaaS/enterprise software.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
Proficiency writing user stories, BRDs, process flows, functional specs, and SQL.
Understanding of API integrations and cloud-based data structures is a plus.
Hands-on UAT coordination and test-case development.
Comfort with APIs, data workflows, and low-code/no-code platforms is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman or similar tools.
Ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical clients and align goals with developers.
Ability to coordinate with offshore teams across time zones.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with field operations, construction management, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure is preferred.
BI/analytics tools and dashboard configuration experience preferred.
Exposure to geolocation data, mobile-first or offline-capable apps preferred.
CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

Serve as the primary contact throughout the project and delivery lifecycle.
Conduct discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews to elicit requirements.
Translate needs into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Manage client expectations by communicating scope, timelines, and trade-offs.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to ensure feasibility.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies as client representative.
Identify scope creep, blockers, and risks; propose solutions.
Configure E2M2M platform modules to meet client specifications.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and UAT scripts.
Coordinate UAT sessions, capture feedback, drive issue resolution.
Validate delivered functionality against requirements before sign-off.
Maintain defect logs and track issues through closure.
Coordinate release readiness, client communications, and go-live checklists.
Support deployments and monitor post-release stability.
Document release notes, configuration guides, and end-user documentation.
Conduct post-release reviews with clients and capture lessons learned.
Collaborate with offshore teams across time zones using overlap windows.

Identify scope creep, technical blockers, and dependency risks and propose solutions
Configure E2M2M® platform modules to meet client specifications
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and UAT scripts
Coordinate UAT sessions, capture feedback, and drive issue resolution
Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements before client sign‑off
Maintain defect logs and track issues through closure
Coordinate release readiness, client communications, training materials, and go‑live checklists
Support deployments and monitor post‑release stability
Document release notes, configuration guides, and end‑user documentation
Conduct post‑release reviews with clients and capture lessons learned
Collaborate with offshore teams across multiple time zones using overlap windows and asynchronous workflows
Travel 25–35% to client sites, project locations, and occasional internal team meetings

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Technical BA, or Product Analyst role within a SaaS, enterprise software, or technology services environment
Proven ability to manage client relationships and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks
Proficiency in writing user stories, BRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and SQL
Understanding of API integrations and cloud‑based data structures is a plus
Hands‑on experience with UAT coordination and test case development
Comfortable working with APIs, data workflows, and configurable software platforms; low‑code/no‑code experience is a plus
Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, or similar
Ability to explain technical constraints to non‑technical clients and business goals and technical requirements to developers
Ability to accommodate morning/evening syncs with offshore teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
Familiarity with field operations, construction management, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure industries is preferred
Experience with BI/analytics tools and dashboard configuration is preferred
Exposure to geolocation data, mobile‑first platforms, or offline‑capable applications is preferred
CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred
