MAHLE GmbH in Monterrey, Mexico is offering a Tax VAT intern position reporting to the MX-COE- VAT Tax Team Lead. You will support day-to-day VAT operations for MAHLE’s Mexican companies and work with the VAT Tax Analyst on diverse tasks.

The role expects accounting bachelor students, GPA at least 8.8, strong English, MS-Office skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. This internship provides hands-on experience, training, and exposure to cross-functional finance activities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to VAT Tax Analyst in different tasks related to maintaining correct VAT accounting balances as reconciliations of the VAT accounts to detect discrepancies between fiscal and accounting data.
• Clean VAT G/L accounts to show real balances.
• Integrate VAT accounts.
• Find information in the accounting system.
• Extract data from accounting system SAP.

Your Contribution:

As a Tax VAT intern, you will report directly to MX-COE- VAT Tax Team Lead and will play an important role supporting Mexican VAT Taxes Team per a period ensuring day to day tax VAT operations of the MAHLE’s Mexican companies.

Your main activities will be:

• Provide support to VAT Tax Analyst in different tasks related to maintaining correct VAT accounting balances as reconciliations of the VAT accounts to detect discrepancies between fiscal and accounting data.
• Clean VAT G/L accounts to show real balances.
• Integrate VAT accounts.
• Find information in the accounting system.
• Extract data from accounting system SAP.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

• Students of bachelor’s degree on accounting
• School accumulated GPA at least of 8.8.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented
• Problem-solving and learning abilities
• Advanced English level
• Knowledge of MS-Office
