MAHLE GmbH in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Metrology Leader to ensure product quality through dimensional analyses and reliable measuring instruments.

You will maintain master standards, calibrate equipment, conduct dimensional studies, execute product measurement plans and supplier interactions to support accurate manufacturing processes.

Formación

• Mechanical Engineer (preferred) or Metrology Technician or related field.
• Technical knowledge of customer requirements and APQP methodology.
• 5 years of experience in Metrology.
• Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and associated software.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain master standards, gauges, fixtures, and measuring equipment in good condition.
• Calibrate and control measuring equipment.
• Conduct dimensional studies on manufactured products.
• Execute the annual product measurement plan, conformity tests, and customer approval runs.
• Conduct Repeatability and Reproducibility studies on measuring equipment.
• Deal with equipment suppliers.

Your Contribution:

As a Metrology Leader you will be responsible for ensuring product quality by conducting dimensional analyses of the products and ensure the reliability of the measuring instruments used to verify the product's condition.

• Maintain master standards, gauges, fixtures, and measuring equipment in good condition.
• Calibrate and control measuring equipment.
• Conduct dimensional studies on manufactured products.
• Execute the annual product measurement plan, conformity tests, and customer approval runs.
• Conduct Repeatability and Reproducibility studies on measuring equipment.
• Dealing with equipment suppliers.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineer (preferred), or Metrology Technician or related field.
• Technical knowledge of specific customer requirements and APQP methodology.
• 5 years of experience in Metrology.
• Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and associated software.
