Howard Financial is seeking a Tax Manager to own the full scope of U.S. tax work, including income tax, year-end filings, and sales tax. You will serve as a trusted contact for clients and teammates in a fast-growing, remote environment.

Ideal candidates have Enrolled Agent credentials and strong experience with federal, state, and local tax changes, plus familiarity with Avalara and TaxJar. This is a 100% remote role supporting clients nationwide.

Competenze

• EA credential or equivalent experience with proven U.S. income tax and year-end work.
• Support all areas of tax practice while leading sales tax compliance and questions.
• Prepare and review business and individual returns; manage deadlines across multiple clients.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.

Mansioni

• Own the full scope of tax work from income tax to year-end filings.
• Take ownership of sales tax function including nexus reviews and filings.
• Prepare and review business and individual returns, meeting deadlines for multiple clients.
• Help build tax processes and documentation as the team grows.
