Howard Financial is seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing tax team. You will own the full scope of our tax work, including income tax, year-end filings, and particularly the sales tax function. A hands-on preparer and trusted client/teammate contact is essential.

The role focuses on U.S. tax and nexus reviews, with an emphasis on delivering accurate returns while improving processes as the team grows. 100% remote, global collaboration.)

Qualifications

• EA credential or equivalent experience with a proven track record in U.S. income tax and year-end work.
• Lead sales tax: compliance, filings, nexus reviews, and client questions.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review business and individual returns, managing deadlines across a multi-client portfolio.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
• Own your work end to end, staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Help build tax processes and documentation as the team grows, staying current on tax laws.
