SSOE Group Mexico seeks a Senior VDC/BIM Coordinator to lead front-end project setup, manage deliverables, and enforce BIM workflows across multidisciplinary teams. You will manage the CDE, define standards, and drive data extraction automations to minimize re-entry.

The role requires coordinating with clients, AE/Trades, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery. The position calls for 8–10 years of VDC/BIM experience, licensure (Título y Cedula), and strong English communication.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional licensure (Título and Cedula) required.
• 8–10 years direct experience as VDC Specialist or BIM Coordinator.
• Advanced capability with BIM model authoring software (Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, etc.).
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 and MS Office tools.
• Conversational English level (Will report to US).

Main Tasks

Under minimal direction of the Manager, this VDC Specialist / BIM Coordinator is a self-starter and responsible for front end set up of projects, and management of the delivery of project deliverables. Will define and document standards, implement client standards and set processes and workflows for the project team to use. As VDC Specialist you will manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and recommend best practices for a client CDE. Able to work in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced environment and must be proficient in Autodesk and Microsoft software ecosystem.

• Work with Project Management team to help facilitate:
• Develops technology execution strategy as it relates to project proposals and staffing estimates.
• Client Deliverables - Authoring, implementation, and maintaining BIM Execution Plan (BxP).
• Develop BIM documentation and enforce workflow process standards.
• Ensure proper closeout of project.
• Facilitate BIM meetings and training.
• Facilitate and maintain relations with Client/AE/Trade/GC partners.
• Manage CDE configuration for projects, permissions for related design software.
• Setup and/or delegate Building Models/Templates according to client/company standards.
• Enforcement of Clash Detection and resolution process with disciplines
• Plan and perform model audits and health checks across a portfolio of projects and clients.
• Create automations and/or processes of data extraction of models/design files to minimize data re-entry.
• Design software expectations
• Research of new applications/workflows.
• Testing and rollout of software upgrades.
• Must be able to perform advanced software functions.
• Must be able to set and maintain project coordinates.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor´s degree in Architecture or Civil engineering or equivalent bachelor´s degree related within the position
• Título and Cedula Profesional are a mandatory requirement
• 8 - 10 (eight to ten) years direct experience as VDC Specialist or BIM Coordinator within smae activities such as: BIM or 3D CAD work experience in professional firm setting desired.
• Advanced capability with two or more VDC/BIM model authoring software, such as but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, etc.
• Capability with VDC applications software, such as: Navisworks Manage, ReCap, Autodesk Application Plugins (i.e. IDEATE BimLink or Model Explorer), etc.
• Skill with associated software: Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360, Microsoft Office, BlueBeam, or SharePoint.
• Conversational English level (Will report to US) . .
