SSOE, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC specialist to lead front-end project setup, manage project deliverables, and define standards for workflows.

The role includes managing the Corporate Common Data Environment (CDE) and aligning with client standards while leveraging Autodesk and Microsoft ecosystems. You will join a multidisciplinary team designing cutting-edge industrial and high-tech facilities for world-leading enterprises, with hybrid work arrangements and international

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering or equivalent bachelor’s degree.
  • Cédula and Título are a mandatory request.
  • 10+ years of BIM or 3D CAD work experience in a professional firm setting.
  • Advanced capability with two or more VDC/BIM model authoring software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor.
  • Capability with VDC applications software such as Navisworks Manage, ReCap, Autodesk plugins.
  • Proficiency with ACC/BIM 360, MS Office, BlueBeam, SharePoint.
  • Understanding of software/API customization is desired.
  • Advanced English. Will report to US.

Responsabilidades

  • Develops technology execution strategy as it relates to project proposals and staffing estimates.
  • Authoring and maintaining BIM Execution Plan (BxP).
  • Develop BIM documentation and enforce workflow process standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive project closeout, including documentation and client satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to project team members, ensuring BIM standards adherence.
  • Facilitate BIM meetings and training.
  • Maintain relations with Client/AE/Trade/GC partners.
  • Manage CDE configuration for projects and permissions for design software.
  • Setup Building Models/Templates per client/company standards; enforce clash detection.
  • Plan and perform model audits across projects; create data extraction automations.
  • Define design software performance expectations; research new workflows.
  • Test and rollout software upgrades; advanced software functionality usage.
  • Collaborate with disciplines on software interoperability; automate from library.
  • Troubleshoot design issues and maintain content libraries.

This individual is a self-starter and responsible for front end set up of projects, and management of the delivery of project deliverables. The candidate selected will define and document standards, implement client standards and set processes and workflows for the project team to use. You will manage Corporate Common Data Environment (CDE) and recommend best practices for a client CDE. Able to work in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced environment and must be proficient in Autodesk and Microsoft software ecosystem.

You'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team engaged in the design process of cutting-edge industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities for some of the world's leading high-tech enterprises.

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

  • Develops technology execution strategy as it relates to project proposals and staffing estimates.
  • Authoring and maintaining BIM Execution Plan (BxP).
  • Develop BIM documentation and enforce workflow process standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive project closeout, including documentation, final deliverables, and client satisfaction confirmation.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to project team members, ensuring consistent adherence to BIM standards and best practices in the modeling environment.
  • Facilitate BIM meetings and training.
  • Facilitate and maintain relations with Client/AE/Trade/GC partners.
  • Manage CDE configuration for projects, permissions for related design software.
  • Setup and/or delegate Building Models/Templates according to client/company standards. Enforcement of Clash Detection and resolution process with disciplines
  • Plan and perform model audits and health checks across a portfolio of projects and clients.
  • Create automations and/or processes of data extraction of models/design files to minimize data re-entry.
  • Define and communicate design software performance and functionality expectations across project teams.
  • Research of new applications/workflows.
  • Testing and rollout of software upgrades.
  • Must be able to perform advanced software functions and to set and maintain project coordinates.
  • Understanding and usage of software exchanges for design interoperability.
  • Collaborate with disciplines on integration with analysis applications.
  • Experience with automation w/in desired software platforms.
  • Manage automations from the company software library.
  • Troubleshoot software design issues and investigate new workflows.
  • Manage content libraries set up and administration.
  • Create families as needed.
  • Manage shared parameters.
  • Actively leverage AI and emerging digital technologies to enhance job performance and project efficiency.
Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering or equivalent bachelor’s degree.
  • Cédula and Titulo are a mandatory request.
  • 10 + years of BIM or 3D CAD work experience in professional firm setting desired.
  • Advanced capability with two or more VDC/BIM model authoring software, such as but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, etc.
  • Capability with VDC applications software, such as: Navisworks Manage, ReCap, Autodesk Application Plugins (i.e. IDEATE BimLink or Model Explorer), etc.
  • Skill with associated software: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), BlueBeam, or SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software/API customization is desired.
  • Communication and facilitation in a team/group setting, including effective meeting planning is required, along with knowledge and understanding of design and construction process.
  • Understanding various project delivery methods, Lean construction and Concurrent Engineering concepts are desired.
  • Advanced English. Will Report to US

Desirable Skills:

  • Prior experience and interested in AI tools, such as BIMLogiq.
