Job summary

Accenture PLC in Mexico City seeks an experienced Oracle EPM Cloud consultant focusing on Planning (EPBCS). You will lead design, configuration, and optimization, bridging finance and technology to transform planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across client projects.

The role requires 6+ years of Oracle EPM Cloud consulting and hands-on EPBCS experience, with multiple full-cycle implementations. Global travel to client sites and remote work within a global network are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Oracle EPM Cloud consulting experience.
• Hands-on Oracle EPBCS / Planning experience is a key requirement. We are not looking for functional users of the tool only, but for professionals who have participated in its configuration, implementation, or support.
• Proven participation in at least 3 full-cycle (end-to-end) implementations, including at least one end-to-end EPBCS implementation.
• Functional experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Autonomy to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and solve problems; ability to lead functional and implementation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of EPBCS applications: dimensions, forms, dashboards, business rules, security, and integrations.
• Design and maintain planning models, calculations, and reports.
• Build and support data integrations from ERP/GL and other source systems into Oracle EPM applications.
• Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation, and collaborate with technical, integration, and business teams.
• Participate in end-to-end Oracle EPM Cloud implementations, enhancements, and support activities.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT, data validation, incident resolution, and go-live and hypercare activities.
• Oversee deliverables, documentation, and schedule adherence, and provide regular status updates.
• Support, guide, and develop less experienced team members.
• Review configurations, documentation, and quality of team deliverables.
• Prepare end-user training materials and transfer knowledge to both the client and the internal team.

Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, with a core focus on Planning (EPBCS), working alongside global Finance Transformation teams. Act as the bridge between finance and technology to transform clients’ planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, work autonomously, ensure adoption of best practices, and safeguard the quality of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Functional Leadership

• Lead functional requirements-gathering sessions and translate business requirements into solution designs.

• Recommend best practices for FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Interact directly with Finance stakeholders and global teams.

• Independently analyze requirements, propose solutions, and resolve problems.

Design & Implementation

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of EPBCS applications: dimensions, forms, dashboards, business rules, security, and integrations.

• Design and maintain planning models, calculations, and reports.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of Oracle EPM Cloud consulting experience.

• Effective storytelling, both visual (PowerPoint) and oral, in English.

• We deliver our work mostly remotely. However, as part of the global Network, sometimes it is required to travel and work closely with our clients in their offices. Willingness and ability to work at client’s locations mostly across USA, but also other locations, for short or long term is required.

Required Technical Skills

In-depth understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions and finance-related processes, with mandatory hands-on expertise in:

Planning (EPBCS)

• Application build and configuration: dimensions, forms, dashboards, and reports.

• Business rules (Calculation Manager).

• Security and integrations.

• Design of planning models and calculations.

Supporting Tools

• Smart View.

• Calculation Manager and Business Rules.

• Data Management (data integration, mapping, and validation).

Desired

• Oracle EPM Cloud modules: FCCS, ARCS, and EDMCS.

• Oracle EPM certifications.

• Exposure to additional Oracle EPM modules (e.g., Narrative Reporting, PCMCS).

• PMO or Agile methodologies certificate.

• Experience in a top tier consulting firm.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related Engineering field.

• English: advanced (excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing engagements).
