Job summary

Thomson Reuters México seeks a dynamic Project Manager to join the CIO Strategy and Operations team in Mexico City. You will lead cross-functional projects spanning business domains and technologies, driving transformation through simplification, standardization, and modernization of commercial systems.

In this role you will translate strategy into actionable plans, manage scope, timelines and budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive project management experience, ideally in a matrixed, global organization.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Business acumen and the ability to connect strategy to execution.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business-level English and Spanish fluency (required for this Mexico City-based role).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects from initiation through execution. Ensure they align with broader program and enterprise goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration. Engage stakeholders from across the organization to ensure alignment and successful program execution.
• Translate business strategy into actionable project plans. Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and benefits realization.
• Champion system and process simplification and standardization. Ensure outcomes are automation-ready and customer-centric.
• Monitor project performance using KPIs such as cycle time, quality metrics, customer experience, and financial impact.
• Guide teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, policies, and design principles.
